Fortunately for us, our driver included a lunch stop here on our city tour. The garlic grilled red snapper was excellent, and very well priced. The place is beach front and has a decidedly local flavour and great prices. I consider it a 'don't miss'!
We were given the name of this restaurant as a recommendation for a tour guide so we were wary that maybe he was getting a kick back but no he was giving us good advice! The food was excellent. My husband had seafood, grilled garlic shrimp and I had a cheeseburger (I don't eat seafood!). The service was amazing it is right on the beach and the prices were the best we have had so far! It can get a little warm there is no inside AC dining but well worth the visit
We went on a recommendation from a local tour guide. We had reservations about it but they were quickly dissipated. Good seafood, which is their speciality, and good drinks. Remember to order the large size. Service was out of this world and great prices. You will not be disappointed
This is a popular beach and lunch hangout serving a variety of fresh fish and other Mexican and international fare.I personally prefer it for breakfast, which is abundant and tasty and can be enjoyed while sitting at a table on the beach before it gets crowded and too hot.
Gilberto is a great waiter. Margaritas are large and fairly priced. Grilled shrimp was nicely done. On the beach although we were there in the evening
We come here 2 or 3x a vacation and always love the food and of course the company. A trip advisor gathering of many friends over the years we have made. We had the Ceviche and Calamari along with the Pico and tortillas they serve and it was very good. Will return this trip!!Pictures later!!
OK - I am sure there are lots of great places in Acapulco and if you have time to explore you will find them all.... BUT, if like us you have just the one day here then this place really hits the spot for lunch.- Right on the beach with open windows/walls- Friendly staff- Quite extensive menu with good range of meals and lighter bites, all reasonably priced. - Huge Tamarind Margaritas for approx 5USD each.Bottom line - if you can't relax here you need therapy!
We enjoy going to the La Cabana de Caleta. This is the place where you can enjoy inside and the beach outside. A favorite place to snorkel and just enjoy padding around. The vendors are full of miles of smiles and don't forget to order the onion rings Yum!! We had 20 people enjoy all their meals and the Marguerite's oh Yea!!! Parking is easy and valet when needed. The restrooms are large and clean. Have a great time!!!
