Beach Club - Cabo San Lucas

We had dinner at El Farallon for the second time this past week. The cliff-view looking out over the Pacific is unrivaled and this alone makes the experience something special. The whole Pedgral resort is just amazing. We had three different entrees at our table: lobster, filet, and seared tuna. The lobster was phenomenal, as tender as any lobster I've ever had but the filet and the tuna were just ok. The three appetizers were prix fixe, which we didn't care for (and they were just ok), although the corn soup was excellent. Desert was fine. We had outstanding service from our server, Lupe Leon. I also don't like the factor-line approach when you enter the restaurant: champaign bar, then pick your dinner, then get seated. I personally perfer the more traditional do-all-that-at-the-table approach. Overall, a very worthwhile experience, if just for the views. Pretty expensive. For three people, we dropped about $650 for three, including a 20% gratuity and a $150 bottle of wine, but we knew that going in so weren't surprised. Personally, for my money, I prefer Don Manuel's, the other premier restaurant at Pedgral, which is located beach level.

Romantic setting, beautiful views and delicious food. Champagne tasting is great experience. You experience the ocean sound,smell and even taste ;-)) Try it, you won't regret or forget...

The restaurant venue itself is a must go! Great view during sunset - so, have a reservation before sunset! Some of the tables may experience some water splash from strong waves during hight tide... Chairs are not comfortable and are VERY dangerous as they may tip over easily...As we got a later reservation we had to wait at the hotel bar located besides another restaurant. Place had uncomfortable seats and was at very small area.Food ordering is very interesting as you chose a protein and two sides, before heading to your table... The fixed price menu includes an appetizer, a soup and a desert.Service was very good during our entire experience, starting at our arrival at the hotel reception.This is not a place for vegetarians, unless you are ok of eating only side dishes.

The sound of the waves crashing while we ate was so very romantic! The food was perfect size proportions and cooked to perfection. The red snapper was my favorite.

The evening was amazing. The food, music, wait staff were outstanding. Our waiter, Lupe, was very knowledgeable about how the food was prepared. He was personable and took very good care of us.

Everything was superb here- the food, service and most of all location. The Resort at Pedregal is an exquisite & exclusive resort. El Farallon is built alongside the cliffs & the waves splash right up the rocks below your table- sometimes with a surprise splash ! There is a champagne bar area to wait in before you eat. Guests choose their fresh main courses & sides as you are shown to your table. There were at least 8 fresh fish selections & a steak. You are also served a soup of the day, 3 tapas appetizers and a dessert, making this a 5 course meal. Cannot adequately describe our wonderful experience. All good was perfectly cooked & we were served generous portions. We were serenading by a wonderful violinist, whose music echoed off the cliffs. Just beautiful!Book reservations early- there are only 3-4 seating times- mid-evening is wonderful because everything is lit up. Dinner prices are reasonable, liquor/wine quite pricey but worth it for lovely evening.

We went there with my wife to célébration ours first wedding anniversary and I have to say this place its a little paradise. The service was excellent and we had a really good time(you cannot expect a better view from the restaurant) ! Definitely the best place in cabo. I highly recommend El farallon.

This is a special occasion type restaurant for us, probably for most people, and we thoroughly enjoyed the setting right over the ocean with the waves crashing below. You go through huge gate and then a tunnel carved in the rock to get there which to me felt a little intimidating. The champagne we were forewarned was 35 a glass, so we declined. The dinner is actually a nice amount of food despite the 59 price for fish. My party enjoyed the parrot fish and sea bass, as well as the nice focaccia bread, chickpea soup, green salad, fried calamari and ceviche. My side of potatoes was delicious with onion and pepper thinly sliced. Asparagus was tasty and a huge portion. We had one person who felt their tuna was not fresh, and the service was extraordinarily- they asked what was wrong, replaced with another option, removed the charge for the tuna. Very nicely handled!! Drinks are pricy - $18 a margarita but delicious and worth sipping slowly. Dessert was included, an apple banana tart. Whipped cream was really tasty!! We will go back when next in Cabo.
