Baja Lobster Company - Cabo San Lucas

Ate here as part of Hacienda Encantada's All Inclusive plan. The food was average. The outdoor dining had a nice view of the Marina. The lobster was tasteless and the side dishes not much better. Finally the wine list was way overpriced for this locale. Would not return.

We had a 7pm dinner reservation. Arrived few mins prior and when we checked in the host commented the reservation was to celebrate my birthday. I thought ok, this is going to be nice, they acknowledged a special event and things should go well....wrong! There were 2 available tables closest to the water, the couple in front of us asked to be seated there. They were denied. We then asked to be seated there, we were also denied. I was told they were saved for a 7:30pm reservation. Not more than 5 mins later a group of 4 came in and asked if they could be seated for dinner. The staff sat them at the open table by the water. We noticed that all of the guests by the water were paying customers. My group, and those around us sitting at the other tables had the all-inclusive bracelets on. None of us were seated near the water. Ok, we figured it out. Prime seating was for paying customers. No big deal, I can kind of agree.Now on to the service. This is where we really noticed the difference in treatment. Drink service was slow. We were given bottled water out of a plastic bottle which was then placed on the table. No big deal, we've been drinking the same bottled water all week at the resort. The other tables without all-inclusve bracelets were given bottled water out of a nice glass bottle that was placed in an ice filled wine bucket.The table that arrived 5 mins after us got their appetizers before they even took our food order. Once we placed our food order we waited and waited and waited. It's now 8pm, we watched the other table get their food order and we still didn't even get an appetizer yet. I had to ask if appetizers, soup or salad were ever going to come out. Once I did this, he ran to the kitchen and brought out all 3...soup, salad and appetizer. Really! How long was it sitting there in the kitchen! By now the server figured out we were annoyed, and appologized over and over. I think he was just worried about his tip. Food was good, but it didn't make up for the horrible service. We were there over 2 hours and the first hour we just sat waiting for food. I don't mind a long dinner but food should be served during the entire time, 3 courses should not be brought out all at once. They never asked if we needed more drinks, each time we needed something we had to try to get their attention. At the end of the meal they did come out with a chocolate brownie and sang "Happy Birthday". Nice touch but it didn't make up for the overall bad service. So if you are on the all-inclusive plan through the resort be prepared for terrible service. I wish we would have gone somewhere else. By the way, nobody ever showed up for that remaining table next to the water

Waited literally 24 minutes for water and had to ask for a menu. I am writing this as I am still waiting just for someone to come take our order. Gonzalo (our waiter) has quite the attitude and didn't even want to come to the table when called. I visit Cabo quite often but I will be sure to never visit here again.

Enjoy the outdoor seating area (Oyster Bar) for a lovely evening dinner. The seafood was very good. I had Red Snapper and my travel mate had Lobster. Both were cooked very nicely and tasted delicious.

We ate here with the all inclusive Marina Fiesta deal. Otherwise, would probably not eat here. With that being said... I really enjoyed the vegetable cherviche and the lobster tail. My husband likes the steak at Jacks better, but I was pretty happy. They said we needed reservations, but we were the only people there.

Went for lunch and loved the fresh seafood. Sat outdoors in their covered awning. Right next to the marina . There shrimp and scallop cocktail was excellent. Clams and lobster tacos were great too. Only problem we were part of an all inclusive. We ate as much as we wanted, but they only brought one dish per person at a time. So the wait for long for all the dishes we ordered ( we got a lot of appetizers)...Other than that, the service was good but slow because of their policy

$500 US for 2 glasses of wine, 2 mediocre lobsters at best and 1 dessert. Keep treating the gringos like that. Won't be going back tho Mexico.

This was a very nice seafood restaurant down in the marina. The waitress was excellent and typical of Mexican hospitality but the manager was not. We ordered lobster, oysters and clams and overall the seafood was good but the chopped clams were not. We ordered 5 and ate 2 before we realized that the clams were not very fresh. We sent them back but the server was not able to remove them from our $200 bill. We asked for the manager and he told us that he was still going to charge us for the 2 we had tried to eat. Not a great feeling in a seafood restaurant!
