La saranderia - CRUZ DE HUANACAXTLE

We decided to try this restaurant on the recommendation of friends. I was disappointed in the overall experience. The service was so-so, all the staff was friendly however the attention to customers needs was lacking. We ordered shrimp fajitas - they were OK, nothing special. The beer was served ice cold. They have a lot of tables with umbrellas/palapas so you can get out of the sun. It's more of an experience eating with the locals and people watching than anything else!!!

We had heard about this restaurant so we gave it a try. Located right on Manzanilla Beach in La Cruz de Huanacaxtle. We were there on a Sunday when all the Nationals come to the beach....they love their beaches! They bring all the family and make a day of it. If you want to experience the typical beach day for the Nationals then try it. We had a great time "people watching". The service was really good. The food is fine but don't come here if you are looking for gourmet dining. We had a couple of beers, which were very cold, and Cameron (shrimp) fajitas. They were fine but nothing special. What makes this place special is being on a beach where you will most likely be one of only a few "gringos" there. There is seating under palapas right on the beach or you can sit at tables in the restaurant area on concrete......I recommend the tables and palapas on the beach. Very inexpensive.

Ended up here after being seated and ignored at another place nearby. Have visited here twice in the last few weeks. Cheap cold beer in a bucket. Great guacamole....Good fries.

I am generally easy to please..but when you come to Mexico you would think you should be able to get a decent margarita. At 65 pesos a piece you would think they would be good. Not so much. We also had some fajitas which were tasty but very pricy. Pail of 5 beers for 100 pesos. There are 4-5 other beach bars in the area so think will try them next time.

Tomé una cubeta de 8 cervezas por $350.00 pesos. con patatas fritas. Recibí chips Tacco con ceviche. Me encantó. Tuve un gran día allí hasta que llegó la factura. Había una tarifa adicional de $200.00 pesos por las sillas encima. nos ordenarían si lo supiéramos. nada menciona sobre la tarifa de consumo hasta la factura. Nuestro servidor hablaba bien inglés. Fuimos a otro club de playa y el camarero nos dijo antes. había una tarifa de consumo de $1000 pesos. nada en el menú menciona la tarifa de consumo. nunca volvería.

esta evaluación incluye ambos estándares. la primera ubicación es el club de playa la saranderia ubicado en la playa. la semana pasada pensamos en cervecas frías, guacamole y unos estupendos nachos de pollo. si piden nachos en 10 lugares diferentes, obtendrán 10 estilos diferentes... para hacerlos. Estos eran excelentes porque estaban cargados de queso y pollo y ocupados con guacamole. Tuvimos un buen servicio, buena comida y cerveza fría en la playa... ¿será mejor, verdad? También hemos comido varias veces en su lugar en la autopista 200 llamado la saranderia terraza (déjelo para la ubicación exacta. ¡Ohhhhh, los burritos! He probado la arrachera y el pollo parmesano y ambos son de carne completa y sabrosos. También tuve el chicharrón de pescado, que también estaba delicioso. Ahora oficialmente me ha dado hambre otra vez (me alegro de tener la mitad de mi burrito sobrante en el refrigerador, así puedo ir a almorzar ahora...jaja).

Eating was excellent. I should mention that I am cooked myself. ceviche to share, cocos garnels were excellent, fish tacos perfect, and I can not have enough about the garnelen díablo rave. dinner for four with a few rounds of fancy drinks ever, for 2000 pesos. excellent service, cook came personally to chat with us!

recommend this place, seafood drinks, desserts . this is the type of restaurant you want to go if you are looking for a regional place to eat. that is a must
