This was a few years back but it's like a travel nightmare. They only had one room available when we booked. I believe they only have 4 rooms. When we turned on the lights there was a scorpion I had to kill. We found out it was a piece of dmitris la Fonda. In the morning we were locked in because to access our room you had to go through the bar. Which was locked with chains. Our room turned out to be propped from the bottom by some 2x4s. Luckily we met dmitri and stayed there. This place blows.
The view was pretty, but the food is overpriced and our server was rude and never checked on us.
The view was great, but there was a huge markup for paying in US Dollars vs pesos we paid $13 more for a mediocre dish with tiny lobsters! The staff claimed that the exchange rate we showed them on google was incorrect. Avoid this ripoff of a place at all costs!!
I wanted to love this place! Food had a good presentation but meh. Also, I could've done without the hair in my aguachiles. We ordered enchiladas, nachos and aguachiles honestly it was not my cup of tea. Carne asada meat was too fatty and enchiladas were just ok. Beans were good tho! Basic margarita. It was strong but they definately use cheap stuff. View was nice, but so is poco cielos's. Not impressed.
Can't wait till the curfew gets lifted that's my first stop for a great Sunday brunch

The amazing view is the only reason to come here. The guacamole is mediocre, the enchiladas were not worth the effort. The table next to us left most of their food. Their selection of beers is limited to two mediocre Mexican beers. The wine was blech Like I said the View makes up for the food
I am going to give them 4 stars just on the food. For years, we have been coming here and enjoying the lobster! It is absolutley delicious! It has been getting more run down over the years, but you still cannot beat the view. You can sit out on the patio and watch the amazing sunsets, or sit inside and have them make you a fire and enjoy the warmth. Normally you can find the rooster and cats wandering around for a greeting, as well as the woman who will sell you roses for your dinner guests. It can be confusing as there is another restaurant with the same name only steps away, however it is not to be confused with this one which is the restaurant closer to Rosarita. The lobster is worth the drive... as well as the drinks!
