Muy buena comida italiana clásica. Recomiendo los raviolis de queso y salmón. Pruebe una de sus recomendaciones de vinos italianos, ¡tienen una amplia selección!

Walking the dog got us a little hungry but it was late and most of the restaurants in the area were closing down. Nestled into the fabulous Velvet Hotel is La Caneva and despite the late hour we were welcomed and ordered away. George and...I shared a Burrata salad with greens and tomatoes to get us started. I ordered Octopus alla Diavola that had grilled octopus, potatoes and the diavola sauce. Very tasty. George had his Linguini dish that was as tasty as it was pretty. I enjoyed a glass of Errazuriz a Chilean white wine that was lovely. I didn't want to linger too long to let the staff go home but had to have an espresso that didn't disappoint. The owner was present and runs a tight ship. Lucky are those who are staying at the hotel, I'd be eating at La Caneva daily.

My wife and I had lunch here two days in a row. It was convenient for us, as they are located right next to our hotel. They have a lot of little Terrace, and we had great meals, in a very relaxing atmosphere. If you...are in the neighborhood, it is definitely worth stopping by.

of us ate here midweek and had a great meal. We all ordered off the menu and the service was still attentive and the food came out in reasonable time. Our waiters were excellent. The chef/owner was present and visited with guests. Waiters spoke...English but the menu was all in Italian/Spanish w/o translation. I had a mushroom ravioli in cream sauce with a hint of Gorgonzola. It was perfect—maybe the best I have ever had. The cream brûlée was also among the best I have eaten—very smooth consistency. Everyone enjoyed their food. The wine list is extensive. Live music was also nice. It is an upscale restaurant with an affluent clientele, more expensive than usual but worth it. We would definitely return.

We loved the food here, fresh and very good ingredients with interesting combinations. I would agree with others in saying I would have given it an excellent but the service was a bit off, I think they were training a new waiter. However that being...said they were all very friendly and we enjoyed the dinner. We also went back the next day just for drinks on the patio, very relaxing.

I think the food is great. They use traditional high quality ingredients but add unexpected twists, such as lamb, duck and some others. The owner, Andrea is normally there taking care that you have the best experience. In our last visit, we got the red...wine a little bit too cold, from the refrigerator, it only took minutes to get the right temperature, but they should be more careful about this. The prices have increased from what they used to be before moving to the new location. It used to be a cozy place and now it is more modern and exposed to the street. But the food and environment are totally great.

Ordered two filet entres which were very good, but what made me not give stars was the lack of service. I ordered two glasses of wine carmenere and a sangiovese. When i received them, they were extremely cold, th hey were out of the...refrigerator and not like they should be which is degrees celcius or around degrees farenheit. If you like wine, I suggest that you not order wine by the glass as they keep it in the refrigerator instead of the wine cooler. My wine was too cold and probably past its prime. A little too pruny. Overall experience ok. stars max
