Mayan Beach Club Restaurant & Tequileria - Isla Mujeres

Paisaje realmente hermoso, muy buena música de jazz en vivo, aunque la comida es cara y no de muy buen gusto. Demasiado aceitoso y pesado.

I was at this beach club with my boyfriend. I was born in Mexico, but live in DC. My boyfriend was born in DC. We both absolutely loved this place. The food was great. It tasted very authentic. The beach chairs were nice and clean. There is an outdoor shower you can use. The views are spectacular, and the staff were all very well put together and on point. Our server for both days was Jorge. He was actually born on the island and provided a lot of facts about the island. He kept us well fed, hydrated, and entertained throughout our entire stay there.

Spent the afternoon at the club. We managed to get loungers and booked a table for a sunset dinner. Samuel looked after us the whole time and was amazing. He went out of his way to make it a superb experience for us, always making sure we had everything we needed. He was extremely kind and great at his job. The food was delicious and cocktails even better. Highly recommend this club.

I didn’t give them 5 stars inky because I felt a little deceived by being charged for towel usage. The price obviously wasn’t the problem it’s the fact that he didn’t say there’s a $2 charge is that okay? We had our own towels so I probably would have only gotten 2 to avoid so many wet items in our book bags. I didn’t find out until we got our tab/check. The server also brought us a bucket of waters and beer and put them in the sand vs our tables. We had 2 tables and he put them in the sand. Make it make sense… so I picked them up and put them on our tables and there was wet sand all on the table that needed cleaning. He also wants great at picking up trash from the table. We started a trash can in one of the buckets after combined drinks into 1 bucket. He later came and took our trash can because it was getting full of used limes, cans, water bottles, etc. I forgot our servers name as he didn’t make that great of an impression. They gave a small public shower area behind the bar Clean restrooms. They do make you get/ pay for a chair for each person even though they aren’t used so keep that in mind while you’re budgeting. We usually only get 2 because the kids don’t sit. But we had to buy 4 Because there were 4 of us. BUT… The location is beautiful, food was amazing, drinks were perfect! They took my daughters floatie to be blown up, so if you take one they can definitely do that for you for no extra charge. Overall a great deal as we definitely consumed more than the minimum as we had planned we would. I would come back to this resort, but hopefully next time we get a better server.

Me, my spouse and my friends have been coming here for years. Hands down, this is the BEST place on the island. The staff is incredible and always willing to accommodate in any way possible. The food (and the view) is incredible. Not only is the staff great but our friend (and server) Juve goes above and beyond to make our stay and time on the beach a great experience! Definitely do not skip a trip to here!!!

This was an unexpected stop. Not only was this the best food weve had all week but also the best service. They went above and beyond to make our night amazing. Thank you samuel our server. Just amazing is all i can say.

Service, food and drinks were excellent. Our server, Mary, took great care of us. The beach location is excellent.
