After reading some of the trip advisor review I decided to dine here. I ordered the chicken mole and lobster kabob. The chicken mole is just a drum stick drenched in okay mole sauce. The lobster was like rubber with some veggies. The portions were small but then again I rationalized that it was cheap Mexican food. I have had way better cheap Mexican food from a food truck in Los Angeles. However, the service is good.
We ate here one night and had 3 dinners: beef tacos, combination fajitas and chili relleno. All were very good -- especially the chili relleno. We would highly recommend for good, cheap dinner.
Delicious food at a very good price, very well located in Isla Mujeres, we had dinner there everyday after we discovered it, it is usually packed which is a good sign, downside, not very big and not many tables
Es un lugar que ofrece gran variedad de platillos nacionales, para gente local,o extranjeros la garantía de que disfrutarán de sus alimentos. Un servidor come del menú del día, que por lo regular es el mismo pero tiene un excelente sabor. hace mucho caloooor!!!!
I was excited to try this place looking at all the great reviews, but the food was very unappetizing, and it actually left us ill with stomach pain and diarrhea. I had the coconut shrimp with garlic soup and my boyfriend had arrachera beef. I took a few bites of each and that was all I could stomach. Better and cheaper food by the iglesia.
We stopped here for lunch (family of four) and had a tasty, inexpensive meal. Ordered tacos, chili relleno and fajitas. All were really good and we'd definitely go back.
We went here one night to get a good tasting inexpensive meal. We got 3 orders of arrechera tacos. Each order includes 3 tacos and costs 60 pesos. Our 3 orders of tacos cost 180 pesos. The night we were there was very busy as every table had customers. This is a great place to go if you are looking to get a good cheap meal. I recommend going on a cool day since there is no air conditioning in the building and it has a tendency to get warm inside.
