Tony's is a good, standard source of reliable Mexican and American food in the Ajijic/San Antonio area. Unless you are a fan of Tony's singing, you may want to be seated in the portion of the restaurant near Super Lake, away from the live entertainment.
This restaurant has been around for many years. We order the chicken shish kebab, even though it is not on the menu because we do not eat red meat.You get 2 choices of sides and we love the guacamole and baked potatoes.They are very nice and the prices are reasonable. Many Gringos go there. They really try to be of assistance which we really appreciate.
Many of the dining establishments in Ajijic cater to expats' various international tastes, but we have been seeking good Mexican fare during our short visit. We found it at Tony's, where the Fajitas were top-notch and the tasty beef confirmed Tony's claim of superior meat supply. The coconut shrimp were crispy and full of flavor, and the portions very generous. Attentive wait staff made this a very pleasant dinner. We intend to return soon.
Nice little place in an expats community. The margarita was good but the fajitas lacking seasons. Won't go back here

This is a very special restaurant that we have visited several times. The BBQ ribs dinner is definitely the star of the show. They fall off the bone, are perfectly cooked and have a delicious sauce. Most of the time we go there for the ribs, however, we also really like the hamburgers and the soup. The wait staff are extremely helpful and efficient. This is the only restaurant I have been at recently where they come back and ask how everything tastes. They also check regularly to see if you need anything. I will definitely bring family and friends here when they visit!
Great BBQ ribs and plenty of them. Service was quick and friendly. Everyone in our party went for the ribs except one, who asked for fish. At then end, all of us agreed that what we ate deserved the highest recommendation. Congratulations, Tony!
