If there is nothing else available then visit this place, for the rest there are better choices all around. Quality and the selection of the food is so so.

See photo.Now that the security situation has improved in the Monterrey area, the owner is planning to extend the hours of operation to around 22:00.And Jose has brought in his children to help run the restaurant, so we don't see him as much as we used to.

It's hard to say what we like best about this family-run restaurant: the food, the attractive surroundings, or the wonderful proprietor. But, to be perfectly frank, it's the food that keeps us coming back. Most often my wife and I order the Mexikanissimo special huevos rancheros, which are smothered in the best huevos sauce we've encountered after years of taste-testing in both the southwestern U.S. and in Mexico. This dish has that chile heat necessary to make it truly Mexican, but the spices don't overwhelm our Gringo tastebuds. We order our eggs ciego (blind) -- that is, with a white surface covering the yolks. Otherwise the eggs are more runny than we like.We have experimented with other menu items, but so far we haven't strayed too far from the ranch(eros). My wife found her divorced eggs to be quite good despite their marital troubles. Our friends tell us Mexikanissimo has the best chilaquiles they've tasted after two years living in Mexico. We've heard the menudo is outstanding.This restaurant closes at 6pm daily, so it is a good place for breakfast, for lunch and maybe for an early dinner. Be aware that Sunday mornings can be crowded, so we usually visit on Saturday mornings, which are less busy. As you can see from the attached photos, the restaurant is attractive both inside and in the outdoor seating area. There is even a play area for the kids. Without a doubt, one of the big attractions of this place is jovial owner C.P. Jose de Jesus Jaubert Davila. We like to call him Jose de Jesus Jaubert Davilla for short. His warm smile and welcoming ways never fail to brighten our day. He speaks pretty good English too, which helps make us feel at home. We really like the waiters here; they're personable, professional and helpful.Some driving tips. Mexikanissimo is located on the right side of the Caretera Nacional (highway) as you drive south from Monterrey toward Santiago. Despite it's big sign, the restaurant is easy to miss because it is hidden from view by the neighboring Nubes event center. So, as you're driving down the highway, look for the Nubes sign. When you see it, slow down, and make a right turn just past the Nubes sign into the Mexikanissimo parking lot. There will probably be a handsome young man there to flag you in.When you see C.P. Jose de Jesus Jaubert Davila, tell him the Gringos sent you.

Es difícil decir qué es lo que más nos gusta de este restaurante familiar: la comida, el atractivo entorno o el maravilloso dueño. Pero, para ser honesto, es la comida lo que nos hace regresar. La mayor parte del tiempo, mi esposa y yo pedimos los Rancheros Mexicanissimo Special-Huevos, triturados en la mejor salsa Huevos que hemos experimentado después de años de pruebas de sabor tanto en el suroeste de Estados Unidos como en México. Este platillo ha requerido estos picantes chilenos para hacerlo realmente mexicano, pero las especias no abruman a nuestro Gringo-Schmuckbuden. Pedimos nuestros huevos a ciegas, es decir, con una superficie blanca que cubre la yema. De lo contrario los huevos quedan más casuales de lo que queremos. Hemos experimentado con otros elementos del menú, pero hasta ahora no nos hemos alejado demasiado del rancho. Mi esposa encontró que sus óvulos divorciados estaban bastante bien a pesar de sus problemas de caídas. Nuestros amigos nos dicen que Mexikanissimo tiene los mejores Chilaquiles que cuestan en México después de dos años. Hemos oído que el Menudo es excelente. Este restaurante cierra todos los días a las 6 de la tarde, por lo que es un buen lugar para desayunar, almorzar y quizás cenar temprano. Tenga en cuenta que los domingos por la mañana pueden estar abarrotados, por lo que normalmente visitamos los sábados por la mañana, que están menos concurridos. Como podéis ver en las fotos adjuntas, el restaurante es atractivo tanto por dentro como por fuera. Incluso hay un parque infantil para los niños. Uno de los grandes atractivos de este lugar es sin duda el jovial propietario C.P. José de Jesús Jaubert Dávila. Nos gusta llamarlo bajito José de Jesús Jaubert Davilla. Su cálida sonrisa y sus maneras acogedoras no dejan de alegrarnos el día. También habla bastante bien inglés, lo que nos ayuda a sentirnos como en casa. Nos gustan mucho los camareros aquí; Son humanos, profesionales y serviciales. Algunos consejos. Mexikanissimo se encuentra al lado derecho de la Caretera Nacional (Carretera), mientras conduce hacia el sur desde Monterrey a Santiago. A pesar del gran cartel, es fácil pasar por alto el restaurante, porque está escondido del vecino centro de eventos Nubes. Entonces, mientras conduces por la autopista, busca la señal de Nubes. Si lo ves, reduce la velocidad y gira a la derecha justo después del escudo de Nubes en el estacionamiento de Mexicanísimo. Probablemente será un joven bonito el que te ate. Si ves a C.P. José de Jesús Jaubert Dávila, dile que te enviaron los gringos.
