I stayed in tepic and I didn't expect to find a place to go out and eat. I have been vegetarian for over 22 years and I will not eat at most places unless it is a Veg place. I love girasol. they have a great lunch buffet and an early dinner and an breakfast buffet. they also have a menu, but I have the buffet for the 5 of 6 days I was stuck in tepic. if they are a veg, they will please you and find this place.

my experience left me in an eating cosm. we went there for the buffet, one of the few places in tepic, nayarit to offer vegan options, we decided to try this place, no regret. not all foods are vegan, the half is vegetarian, so make sure they ask them which are vegan. I had so much to eat and it was so good, I'll come back indefinitiw. the staff was very good about the food ingredients, and the service was great. shoutout after francisco for the very ingenious customer service. the passion fruit drink was a m a z i n g. they definitely check out this place, but make sure they come with sweating that they will leave very full.
we were there twice and ate both of them. everything we tried was just delicious. a great variety and very cost-effective for what they get. friendly staff. highly recommended!
The best veggie food in town!!!
This restaurant serves fish and vegetarian meals, but I was so surprised to find that the buffet was mostly vegan! I've been visiting Tepic my entire life, and when I went vegan I thought it'd be hopeless to eat at all, but this place really amazed me and makes me excited to travel here : The buffet was mostly cooked vegetables in sauce, and served some soy meats, however I'm not sure if those are entirely vegan. The chef also specially cooked some mushroom tacos for my friend and I when she found out we didn't eat dairy! They had an amazing passion fruit juice when I went : I hope that the mostly vegan buffet stays consistent because it's such a life saver!
