Carlos, our waiter, was very friendly. He was also very helpful because of our limited Spanish. The cocktails were sooo delicious! Essen presentation was quite inviting and the food taste was from this world! As you see in the pictures, I was so excited to dig into the main dish that I forget to make a picture of his presentation. Lol. Very recommended!

Visit Boca Del Río only for this culinary experience. Amazing cuisine and concepts from only local ingredients. The service was perfect without pretension. All Peso worth. Increíble!!

Best restaurant in the state Be happy this place is in veracruz so you can still afford it its a steal for what it does! Waiters and the chef are the nicest people and will make you feel at home

Excellent place and meals
I really wanted to like this place, during my visit in Veracruz this was one restaurant I really wanted to eat at. As a Chef I was excited to look at their menu and to see all the great reviews on here. We got in towards the end of service, and not 1 table was there, that part did not bother me because I figured it's an upsale Mexican restaurant. The server was knowledgeable, they even had old school hip hop playing which I loved. They sent out an amuse bouche that tasted amazing, that got me excited so I decided to order a few items to try, well the disappointment started from there, everything was plated beautifully but the flavors did not all go well together. I did like the ceviche but everything else either had too much acid or salt. We barely finished any of the dishes. This place can be so much better, and I did appreciate the kitchen staying late for us. I asked our server how long they have been open and he said 6 years. I love the idea but the food really needs work when it comes to the flavors. 3 stars for the service, the kitchen and also for staying late for us. I hope they fix the their flavor profile because this place has potential.
