If you can afford to waste 3hrs of your time at breakfast, if you don't mind that half that time you will not be eating but waiting, if you find it amusing to see the confusion in the face of your waiter, then this is the place for you. I could not answer affirmatively to any of the above conditions, which is why my experience was bad. However, it's food is exceptional.
Food is good the place is nice hi 5 service is excelent i recomend this place borrego tatemado and brakfast is the best
The food is really good and very reasonably priced. I will definatly be back here in my next visit to the valley.
We went there for brunch and had one of the best meals in Baja California! I had a manchaca gordita (fabulous!) and a lamb taco (also fantastic!) along with totopos & salsa. That was too much food but I couldn't stop eating it was so good!!!
I will tell you that this place if popular but always with enough seating. Breakfast is delicious and I would recommend sharing. They serve a big portion. If you have a chance to eat their birria, I highly recommend it.
This place is always mobbed on weekends. It is a pleasure during the week when I go for the lamb birria.
We decided to head up into wine country for lunch today, and had the most amazing meal. We got there around 2pm and it was packed. We probably waited 45 minutes to be seated, but there were lots of places to wait in the shade. Coming from the states this was the most amazing meal at a super affordable price. Everyone in our family thoroughly enjoyed their food, it's definitely going down as a top 5 meal. Lots of warm tortillas, the chips and salsa were perfect, lemonade was super fresh and not too sweet. The meat was amazingly tender and flavorful. And fresh cheese?!! Couldn't ask for more. If you have the chance, go!
We spent the morning wine tasting and needed food. We were at El Pijoan Winery, also excellent and they suggested La Cocina de Dona Esthela's as they had excellent food. The food was excellent and true Mexican cooking. The portions were very large and we had to take some home with us. They make fresh corn tortillas right in front of you and they are to die for. Store bought will never be the same. The prices were very cheap for the quality and the quantity of food you get.Definitely a place we will come to again when passing through Valle de Guadalupe!
