Acropolis Cafe Restaurante - Zacatecas

The Campechanas are freshly baked daily. They do very nice coffee here and the Sopa Azteca with the chilpotle is quite the best I have tasted. Acropolis has wonderful service and the restaurant boasts a most wonderful private collection of paintings & drawings by a few unexpected artists - Picasso, Miro, Coronel amongst others. Open all day.

Tuve la oportunidad de visitar este restaurante para cenar y las opciones son buenas y diferentes a las de otros restaurantes de la zona. Necesito probar el agua de Mazapán. ¡¡Único!!

Esto fue altamente calificado y recomendado por algunos lugareños. La comida era deliciosa y llena de sabor. ¡Yo definitivamente recomiendo este lugar!

This was my first trip to Zacatecas and what a nice surprise. And this restaurant is fantastic. Great appetizers and soups. Guacamole to cry for. We had 8 people at the table and all meals were excellent. Also with the current exchange we had two beers appetizers dinner and coffee or after dinner drinks and tip for $24/ person. This is a must stop.

We went on May 10 (Mother's Day) for a quick dinner. Maybe that was part of the problem - we don't know. The staff seemed irritated that we came in and ordered. The food was just okay. We have no idea why it was highly rated - one of our worst experiences ever.

The service was poor, we felt like the waitress would rather talk to the other employees. Otherwise the food was Terrible.

While staying in Zacatecas I stopped in for a Saturday afternoon lunch. I had a hambuger and fries and Chilada ( glass with a salted rim, filled with ice and 2 oz of fresh squeezed lime juice, then you add the beer of your choice). The burger was quite good. It can be hard to find a good burger in Mexico. Fries were cooked just right and the beer was cold. Priorities for me. Definetly will stop back.

I am a sunny egg lover and the "Desayuno Acropolis" is one of the best I had take. The coffee is good and the outside setting is enjoyable.
