puerto barraco yesterday was fantastic for lunch. no reservation required, although it is quite popular restaurant. we sat right away and had the choice where we should sit. Although it is nowhere near a beach, it is surrounded by lush landscape that gives it a tropical feel. the rustic interieur invites, and they have a playroom with a tw for children in there. all COVID procedures are followed. we started with an order of shrimp pescadillas (fishquesadillas) and marlin pescadillas. my favorite was the marlin. I also commanded mango aguachile, which in the ground raw garnel in an acid and very light sauce which cooks it, in a similar way, in which ceviche is made. I practically ate the whole order myself. then we both had a duck with garnel, but all were different. the mandel shrimp is created like coconut shackle, only with mandling, another one was called pipe, which have beurre noir with cap and swirl. zarandeados were next, they have a spicy and creamy sauce and came with an salate. Finally, I had a surf and turf-molcajet (stone mortar). both the garnel and the steak are in a super tasteful and non spicy sauce, and soouu tender also a fork is enough to cut through. we have washed everything with lima agua fresca, that is a half bitter, half sweet zitrus, that 's in mexiko, 2 pitchers lol. Finally, I can 't resist a good dessert, so we had chongos, a sweet curd style dessert that zamora is famous, an empanada filled with chiongos that would pay with ice and finally a banan hot chim I recommend this stop for anyone who visits zamora. oh, and their child menu was also quite impressive.
