Casa Mila - Acapulco de Juárez

Been coming here since it opened up a couple of years ago and have never had a bad meal. There are always people there but it is never crowded which is a surprise to me. The food is well done, creative, tasty and a real bargain. It's out of the way and you have to work to find it but it is worth it!!!!!

Another fine dining experience. We dined there twice and found the offerings to be excellent, the service to be good and the desserts to be fattening. Great place to experience.

We went on a Saturday night; party of 10 dining early for dinner. We were the only table upon arrival. As is the norm with a large party in Acapulco; separate checks were requested. A dilemna.After about 20 minutes (or more) our drinks were delivered. 10 more minutes for the delicious bread. Salads were brought and the tomato/mozarella was also delicious.About 40 minutes later our entrees started to appear...I ordered the special paella; huge portion; but uh-oh, tasted fishy/and of iodine. And the shrimp were in shells, which made for a mess. I needed a separate bowl/plate for the shells...another 15 minutes.Steaks were ordered; 3 different kinds; arrechera; rib-eye; fillet. No one was happy.The live music started right next to our table about 2 hours into our meal. It was muted and very nice. We could still converse. Another group appeared about 9:30pm. Remember this was Saturday night. Not a lot of business. The service should have been better. The table shared desserts which were tasty. So have a salad, bread and dessert. Skip the entrees. Or skip the restaurant; there are plenty of others where service and food are consistent.I won't give this a second chance.

We went with two friends, and ate on the terrace. Very lovely, very elegant. Four different entrées - seared tuna, grilled brochette of beef, shrimp and pork, one chicken dish and one fish dish. All four of us were very pleased with our choices, with the service. It's a wonderful elegant addition to the wide choice of wonderful restaurants in Acapulco. This is probably one of the mid-to-high end restaurants but with 18.75 pesos per dollar nothing is expensive in Acapulco right now.

Small but nice.Décor very nice. Nice outdoor patio. Very clean. Good service. We were 4. For a starter we had the octopus and salmon carpachio--both very good.1 had a salad--big and good. For dinner, 1 had salmon--excellent. 1 had filet--very tender, tasty and good sauce. 2 had rib eye--1 was good, the other tough, but he ordered it rare. Only 1 kind of white wine, but she said it was good. We had a friend go the week before, and he said it was also excellent. Will try again.

The first time I was to Casa Mila was a delight ! The second and last time it was a very high deception. The "filet of beef" we ordered was less than half the size we received the first time and the quality questionable. We ordered some red wine and it was served ice cold ! I was impressed with our first visit so I had invited other couples to come and enjoy Casa Mila... I was so ashamed of the food quality and quantity that never again will I return to this place.

Fui una vez por las críticas de Trip Advisor y la comida era buena. Nuestra segunda y última visita será la última. La comida era terrible... pedí filete y era asqueroso... mi esposa tenía camarones gigantes que eran poquito. También está al lado de la calle principal y no es una buena ubicación. Regresamos todos los años y cuando regresemos a Acapulco, si el restaurante todavía está allí, no regresaremos. Unas palabras sabias deberían ser suficientes.

Pasamos una velada encantadora con grandes amigos. El servicio fue absolutamente excelente. Todos nosotros disfrutamos nuestra comida. Prueba el aperitivo portobella. Sabía a bistec.
