We had an amazing lunch here yesterday. Both food and service was incredible, so we decided to come back for dinner today, and was more than disappointed. Service was extremely slow and inattentive, food was cold by the time they were served and way too salty. The hostess was cold and didnât bring us to the table waited by the server that I requested and wasnât apologetic at all. We regretted coming back
This was our third or fourth time visting Porfirios. As always, the food was delicious and beautifully presented. I had the salmon and it was cooked and prepared perfectly. Our servers were fantastic as well. The only reason I didn't give it stars overall was because of our pre-dinner bar experience. There was only one bartender working and he was overwhelmed taking care of the people at the bar, as well as all the servers coming up for table drink orders. We were waiting for minutes just to be acknowledged (there was another party of which arrived after us, yet got served before us?? so that wasn't a experience. As I said, our dinner experience was top-notch and we would return on our next trip to Cancun.
Awful. Loud. Made Us wait almost minutes just standing at the check in for reservations while at least different people tried to figure out what do with the group of ahead of us. Literally took our name and just made us stand there while different servers and hostesses talked about the seating for the group shreds of us that was early and they asked to wait on the bar. Music was so loud you could not even hear the waiter. Then the table behind us starting smoking cigars. Gross. Food was basically Americanâ¦not anywhere near authentic Mexican. If I wanted to go to an OâCharleyâs I would have done they before I flee to Mexico.
An amazing meal with incredible service and great music and atmosphere. Would love to eat here every night!
Good is fantastic and a good value. We had to wait minutes to get our table. I may be old but the music was so loud it was hard to converse at the table.
Started off strong and went down hill fast. The dinner came minutes after the appetizers. We had to ask several times what happened. The manager did waive a portion of the bill but seems they dropped the ball. Great music but too loud.
Terrible. Multiple dinners were not edible or incorrect and service was extremely slow. Excuse was the kitchen was having issues that night.
Amazing decor, ambiance, service⦠I will definitely go back⦠many times since I am in Cancun for months.
