Comenzare por decir que somos locales y mi esposo y yo trabajamos en la Hoteleria aquí en Huatulco, asi que sabemos del buen servicio que se debe brindar para que el cliente regrese feliz! ...Este restaurante en lo personal siempre lo recomendaba con los huéspedes del hotel para el cual yo trabajo, ERA el lugar excelente para visitar un domingo en familia y desayunar, al menos para mi esposo, mi hijo de 3 años y yo.. la comida excelente, pero LA GROSERÍA QUE ME HICIERON FUE DE LO PEOR!!!Los domingos tienes la opción de desayunar tipo buffett, por lo tanto los precios son de buffett, comenzamos a desayunar, a mi hijo le serví unos trozos de fruta, pero no quiso comerlos, le dije a la mesera que mi hijo no quería comer del buffet y que mejor para el le ordenaría de la carta (precios aparte del buffett) todo iba excelente, hasta que a la hora de pedir la cuenta cual fue mi sorpresa que me estaban cobrando 3 buffett mas lo que le ordene a mi hijo, por supuesto que creí que era una confucion, pero LA MESERA ME DIJO QUE TENIA QUE PAGAR UN TROZO DE FRUTA QUE MI HIJO SE COMIO, Y QUE LO TENIA QUE PAGAR COMO BUFFETT COMPLETO!!! la verdad para nada fue lo que tenia que pagar en pesos, si no la acción de que entonces... NADAMAS TE ESTÁN VIENDO QUE COMES PARA COBRÁRTELO??!!!! ES BUFFETT!! y por supuesto que somos jente educada que se sabe comportar en un buffett y no TRAGAMOS como desesperados!! me querían cobrar tres buffett cuando mi hijo no comio ni un trozo de fruta!! mas la sopa de pollo que ordene para mi hijo!! termine pagandoles y me salí muy molesta, NUNCA MAS LO VOLVEREMOS A RECOMENDAR Y POR SUPUESTO QUE JAMAS REGRESARÍAMOS.
I had heard that if you order in advance, they will cook a chicken for you done in tinfoil and then covered in clay and baked with spices. So we ordered and five of us went. It was a wonderful experience. Service was excellent, staff were very friendly although English is not one of their strengths but we managed fine. they unwrap the chicken in front of you, discard the skin and bones and serve just the meat, two good sized platters worth.. The spicing was nice but not hot spicy. It was served with guacamole, black beans, and tortillas if you wanted to make a taco. We also ordered rice for those of us who did not want to make tacos and it was excellent. We also pre ordered a spinach salad with dried cranberries and a honey mustard dressing. All in all, a great meal. With drinks and dessert, the bill was 1500 pesos, about $20Canadian per person, a great value. We would all highly recommend this restaurant. One of the people we were with had been there several times for lunch and said his food was always good.
Es un lugar con un excelente sazón, los dueños siempre están atentos y te preguntan si todo esta bien, los precios están dentro del promedio, los alimentos son muy buenos, ideal para ir a desayunar con la familia, los huevos motuleños son exquisitos, el servicio es un poco lento pero se tolera, su comida lo vale, es muy lugar muy limpio y tranquilo
Back in Huatulco again and had to eat at my favorite restaurant - Santa Clara. The food, staff and drinks couldn't have been better - Muchisimas Gracias!!!
Los panes tostados con una mermelada de jamaica que ellos hacen y mantequilla, son riquisimos para el desayuno,acompañado de un cafe con crema.. buenisimo para luego ir a la playa .
Santa Clara is a family owned hotel/restaurant. Having been here in Huatulco for over 6 yrs, I feel compelled to sing there praises. They are a very service and quality concision group. The owners are involved in all aspects of the process - from the grandmother to the great-grandchildren - service is wonderful and the food is locally sourced and delicious. They take great pride in what the serve and are happy to tell you the history and background of any dish. Whether its the "meal of the day" or the specialty chicken that needs to be ordered the day before - you will not find a better restaurant at any price than Santa Clara!!!
Quiet, traditional, lovely family restaurant with excellent food. The presentation was given a lot of thought too.
