Drink & Fly Jocotepec - Jocotepec

this is a pretty new place and really good! The wings were great and the beer as well! Really great service too! Will try a burger one of these days too!

We can always use another restaurant here in our village. Although there are many great taco stands, and a few good restaurants, it's nice to have other options, and Drink and Fly Jocotepec fills a need that was missing. The menus is very large, including a great variety of wings and hamburgers. The variety of beers available is certainly enough to please any beer expert. (I only drink dark beer and there were a number of choices.) The service was quick and friendly. The only thing that bothered me a bit was that the waiter almost seemed more interested in his cell phone than in taking our order or attending to us afterwards. When I mentioned this, he said he had to be on hand to field take -out orders as well, and these come in by phone. Might be nice to have two people on hand, one to serve the clients and one to take orders? All in all a clean, airy, welcoming addition to restaurants in our town. My burger had blue cheese!

A couple of months ago, a new place opened up in my pueblo of Jocotepec, Jalisco, Mexico, located at the western end of Lake Chapala in the central highlands of Mexico. i've lived here for 8-1/2 years and try to check out places in Joco, from mom & pop type cafes to carnitas and taco places to our two Chinese places. Several weeks ago, i heard about a new Hot Wings, Ribs, and beer place that opened up in Joco centro, two blocks east of our local mercado. Because i was craving hot wings, i decided my friends and i needed to check it out. (Hey, these cravings happen to expats occasionally, not matter how long they've lived here.) i've now had their hot wings twice and both times i have been totally satisfied. For 70 pesos, you get 10 wings with your choice of NUMEROUS types of sauce from mild to five-alarm, the traditional celery sticks with your choice of ranch or bleu cheese dressing. They also serve ribs, burgers, and lots of lots of kinds of beer (mainly international brands). My five-star rating is admittedly based on the wings (my choices being both three chilis on their five-chili rating scale or four chilis). But my friends who have tried their ribs and burgers have also much enjoyed their meals. If you are a wings and beer lover, i think you will like this place a lot! Give it a try. .

This place sounds like a gringo's dream...burgers and wings with a huge selection of beer! I've had a couple of different burgers here, and the meat is just not very good...dry and not a good flavor. My wife refused to eat hers. There are much...better burgers in Joco with better meat that is juicy. The wings seemed much hotter than medium spice and were overcooked and dry. The staff is nice and the open-air location is good for people watching. Great beers but not so great food, you can do better.

Cold jalapeno poppers, frozen and re-heated. Cheese was alarmingly cold and jalapeno still frozen on one of the larger peppers. The shame is, they could have been good! Took the meat out of my Classic burger, US, after one bite because it had an...off taste, and was nearly raw. Weird because there were large black grill lines on the patty, which was so thin it completely fell apart as I tried to get it off the bun. We went in and ordered wings, which were tough and dry. I suppose the sauce is supposed to make the wings fly. Yuck. Worst dining experience since moving to Mexico a year ago. Not worth any price, much less the fifteen US we paid. I hope hubby does not get sick, as he ate all of his. The trays carrying our food were black in the indents on each side of the wood. I pray it was not black mold, but sure was not burger or fries. Fries were good! Hot and crispy! Lol maybe for drinks, if I was a drinker.

This wings and beer place is excellent, the beers on tap are good and cold, the wings have lots of different sauces, the employees are friendly and love to speak English, the prices are low. Marvellous !
