Excellent selection of beer and very good food. All staff very friendly and a great owner who is happy to help with anything. Definitely worth a visit.
Excellent place to have a beer or more and enjoy the evening with friends. Food is also pretty good. I highly recommend a table on the terrace to enjoy the view of Paseo de Montejo.
Warm and welcoming traditional Irish pub with all the bell and whistles. Great food with options to eat inside, outside or up on the rooftop patio. Food and service are impeccable. Atmosphere can't be beat. Regular live music.
So we visited on a warm afternoon on MLK day. bar maybe had tables seated. It's a pretty big place, would be nice to come back when the place is jumping. Lots of beers on tap and a lot of things on the menu...you aren't going to find anywhere else in Merida (Buffalo wings, Butter Chicken, etc.. Great service as well Great location on Paseo Montejo. Seems like a local hipster kinda street. We sat out front to watch everyone watching us as they walked by.
This place was great! We had two glasses of red wine and then ordered some sandwiches to go. The service was very good and the food was too. Great experience overall!
Had Hennessy’s deliver dinner last night. What a treat! The food was extraordinary. I highly recommend the fettuccine with mushrooms and truffle oil and the salmon with potatoes and bacon. Thank you Hennessy’s, well done!!!
Been to Hennessy’s many times. Always a great time. Wonderful food and a fantastic atmosphere. They even let our dog join us on the patio. The best fish and chips ever. Please plan to visit them soon.
Hennessey’s is a favorite with expat residents, visitors and Yucatecans alike. St. Patrick’s day celebrations are legendary and were sorely missed in Sean and Colm reacted quickly when the Covid pandemic hit, offering free delivery on takeout orders; and now offering frozen entrees...of some menu favorites. This is the place to go when you are in need of some comfort food reminiscent of the United Kingdom and Ireland- fish and chips, shepherd’s pie, Guinness pie are all delicious. My absolute favorite is the bangers and mash!
