Service was very relaxing on a nice Saturday morning. Juices are quit good and there is a great tea shop next door.
Estoy explorando los cafés de la zona y este es mi favorito. El café (Illy) es excelente, y el servicio muy atentivo. Es más caro que los demás, pero vale la pena. Yo no comí nada, pero escuché buenas historias sobre la comida también.
The Café Toscano offers a nice and warm place to enjoy good drinks, excellent food, great bakery... and of course, good illy coffee. It is well located at the heart of Polanco, a nice neighborhood in Mexico City.I preferred interior tables since those at the exterior unfortunately have to deal with cigarettes smoke and several people selling things. Interior decoration offers a warm ambiance. Worth to visit.
We had breakfast twice here during our stay in Polanco. The setting is very cute, reminds me of a cafe in Rome or Paris. You can eat by the sidewalk and enjoy the great weather. We found the food to be very good. We ordered the chilaquiles and omelettes. My teenage kids needed a break from tortillas and beans, so they ordered the French toast which was great.
Cafés hermosos, cafés escondidos, cafés famosos. Este café Polanco que belleza. Fue una casualidad por qué desviamos de la ruta y nos quedamos sentados en estas banquetas de maravilla
Mi novio y yo estábamos en busca de pasta o pizza, así que dimos con este lugar. El ambiente es bonito, tranquilo y relajado, la atención de los clientes es muy buena y amable, buena música y los muebles también muy bonitos y fuera de lo común. Sin embargo, la comida no fue lo que esperábamos, las opciones de pasta son básicamente vegetarianas a excepción del calamar, no tienen pizzas y el clericot no es mucho para dos personas. Lo que sí nos gustó fue el café y el chocolate caliente. También ofrecen paninis y quiché, por lo que sí volvería pero más bien en plan de sólo como cafetería.
Delicious illy-brand coffee, a variety of healthy and tasty juice options and nicely prepared chilaquiles. I enjoy sitting at one of their wobbly sidewalk tables on a Saturday morning, watching the vast assortment of Polanco locals with their perrijos and an eclectic mix of foreign visitors pass by.On this particular morning my eyes were treated to the appealing profile of a lovely blonde woman who made my time spent waiting...and waiting for my coffee and chilaquiles seem less interminable. If you're stuck waiting for your meal, what more could one ask for than a lovely view to help pass the time?!
