Cafe Alex offers a variaty of traditional food. The portions are big, the quality super and the price is good. The ambiente is nice and the waiter was really kind. We loved that place.
La comida no es buena, sirvieron frío el pollo empanizado, tenía mucha grasa y los precios son altos para la calidad de comida que sirven.
Très bon, au moins, ici, le pain est servi en même temps que le reste !!!Bon accueil, service impeccable. Accès wifi de bonne qualité.
We didn't enjoy our dinner the evening we went to Cafe Alex. We sat by a window which was opened to an extremely noisy street and the TV was playing in the corner of the room with a program that was definitely not something I'd want to watch while eating a meal. The food was ok but nothing special. We had much better food at a number of other places in Oaxaca.
Muy cerca del zócalo. La comida muy buena, el precio es muy justo, el servicio es bueno. El local es bastante limpio y acogedor. Definitivamente volvería.
Food was not fancy, but very good. And oddly I like their french fries best in Oaxaca. Pleasant atmosphere, helpful staff. Check out the birds in the back room - beautiful.
Considero que es el restaurancito tipico, nosotros fuimos por recomendación del hotel, pero de igual forma preguntas por donde ir a comer en el centro e inevitablemente te responden que al mercado Hidalgo o que si ya fuiste a Alex...nuestra experiencia fue muy buena. pedimos de entrada sentarnos en el jardín o terraza. y tienen varias aves creo guacamayas, ese día pedimos la comida corrida y todo muy sabroso y limpio. y si bastante económico!! Volvimos a los dos dias y ya pedimos del menú...yo no se lo demás pero recomiendo ampliamente las enmoladas...y su chocolate en agua...definitivamente un lugar que deben visitar, tanto por sus buenos precios, sabrosa comida y atención amable del personal...no esperes lujos, es un lugar sencillo pero limpio!!
We went here because my granddaughter who was with us is named Alex. We were there at noontime on a Saturday and the only menu we were offered was a breakfast one. So we had breakfast for lunch. The French toast was good and the juice servings were generous. The milk shakes were not so great. The parrots in the large aviary in the courtyard were entertaining especially when one escaped!
