Este restaurante pequeño tiene comida oaxaqueña casera además de algunos otros platillos. La cecina está muy buena y se pueden comer chapulines. Las quesadillas son fritas en el momento y las tlayudas están muy ricas. Los precios son bastante accesibles y en general el servicio está muy bueno. Se puede ir a pie como 15 minutos del centro.
Great little place. Our Airbnb was a five minute walk from El Biche Pobre and on our way to Parque Juarez El Llano where we enjoyed spending time people watching. We stopped in one morning purely out of convenience and had a wonderful inexpensive traditional Oaxacan breakfast. The huevos rancheros came with fresh fruit and juice and everything was delicious. After our first breakfast we returned two more times each time we tried new dishes. We had the same waiter every morning and he could not have been more charming or attentive and every time he saw us walk through the door he recognized us and met us with a smile. Yea us...we had accidentally stumbled upon "our place" in Oaxaca and enjoyed all three mornings we ate there. There are so many wonderful places to eat in Oaxaca we never made it there for dinner however I could not help to notice the sheer number of local families that stopped by to eat at El Biche Pobre and they were clearly regular customers. Always a great sign.

I ate here 3 times when I was staying in Oaxaca for three weeks. All three times the food was great. The price was not bad at all. It was well worth it. I ate there twice for dinner and once for breakfast. The staff is very friendly as well.
Had very good fried fish and salad here. Prices are quite fair. Service is friendly. I'll be back to try more dishes. Friends say the breakfast is great, but I haven't made it over for that yet.
Service is the difference, they adapt to what you want. You can choose from different ingredients what you want for your garnish or your scramble eggs.
