La Flor de Zicatela - Puerto Escondido (Tepeolulco Puerto Escondido)

As a solo traveler I tend to shy away from the loud restaurant bars on the beach and was curious to try this place after a walk every day and check out the posted menus outside. I had the Burrito Especial, who had about 75 pesos with Eggs, Guac, Rice, Beans, Cheese and Salad. It was so filled (picture does not do justice) and took half to go. I appreciate being one of the two customers in it, so service was fast and attentive. I also liked that the restaurant starts in the morning, arriving with ingredients for their kitchen with taxi and motorcycle.

This place is super cheap and really fresh. We always came back because it was consistent and reliable. Service is fast. Building is clean and bright and breezy. Fresh juices are great. 5 stars just because it always delicious, fresh and cheap!

I'm usually not a Burrito fan, but these are exceptional. This small restaurant is clean with good service and price. The food is fresh, to order and tastefully made. Bring your appetite and enjoy!

Very budget-friendly and tasty place to eat. This place especially great for breakfast or lunch. I have eaten here several times. It's very small, just a three or four tables on the pavement on the main drag of Zicatela. There's a good selection of burritos...which are packed with lots of fresh salad and sour cream. The fruit salad with yoghurt and muesli for breakfast was nice and fresh. They also have an awesome selection of fresh fruit juices. Service is quick and friendly. Definitely worth a visit.

We have been eating here as a family for the past 4 years. We have enjoyed and tried nearly everything on the menu (that is easy to read in english and spanish) and not once did we get sick. A very trustworthy fast affordable place...to eat where $50MXN will satisfy a hungry surfer.
