It was hot and we were thirsty and tired, and there was Juans. We found a table and when we left, we were as happy as could be! This spot is just a little place and easy to walk past, but do not do that! The drinks are awesome and the food was delicious. We had a vegan in the group and she had no trouble finding something yummy on the menu.A local told us this is the place she goes for her morning hot beverage.

We stop there this morning. Open at 9 am only on saturday. We love Nespresso cafe, so it was a very nice wake up call. Goog banana and nut muffin to. It is aslo on main tourist street, a place you would like to be around.

Although the service at Juan's is quite slow, you will get a well-prepared meal. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. In the afternoons, they often host musicians...adding a nice touch to the small eatery.

Nice soups and salads, live music on the weekends. Good service. Great breakfast and pastries from the French bakery.

We stopped for a quick coffee, hot chocolate and a pastry from the local French Bakery (west Ajijic). I asked for an extra chocolatey Hot Chocolate made with lactose free milk. It was very good.

The Cafe is very newer, very nicely decorated in a contemporary style. As we were looking at the menu we heard some great music playing -- singing accompanied by a guitar. Initially thought it was a recording, turned out to be live!!We had stopped for a quick dinner. Ordered two crepes which were delicious. Our waitress was warm and charming and talked us into coffee and dessert. The fresh berry tart was superb! All of the people there were warm and friendly. The atmosphere is most inviting. We returned 3 more times during our one week stay in Ajijic. -- Try the Waffles~!!

Perfect spot for people watching on calle colon! The crepes and waffles are simply delicious here. They serve Nespresso, which is excellent and served many different ways. The lunches & deserts are very good and check out their wines as they offer excellent choices. Great place to meet new people from all over the world. Music on Weekends and now they just received a permit to have tables and seating on the street on weekends! Very cool place. I'm making it my local hang fave!

We discovered this cool spot on our very first night in Ajijic! After about 3 more meals there in 15 days, it remained our favorite place to eat, drink and hear live music!  We met the wonderful owners - both named Juan - interacted with the friendly staff and enjoyed the best live music in town.  Our most memorable meals were eaten here and I highly recommend the 1) Belgian Waffle with fresh berries & salted caramel sauce that comes with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a generous puff of whipped cream - oh so delicious and under $3 USD!  2) Pasta Pomodoro - Also around $3 USD and  3)  the best salad ever - $2.50 - $3.00 USD.  Can't gush enough about this wonderful place... from the food to the live music to the friendly kitten that wandered onto the patio - we loved everything about Juan Café!
