Acudi a cenar con mi esposa y mis hijos que son menores, la pasamos increíble, el lugar esta espectacular, el servicio de todo el personal es de primera, la música es una maravilla y pues los alimentos son para aplaudir al chef y su equipo en cocina.Pedimos unas papas con longaniza de Valladolid, un salpicón de mariscos, 2 veces la carne de cerdo, mas un pulpo, todos los alimentos espectaculares, en cuanto regrese a Tulum será una visita obligada.Al final me acerque a felicitar al chef y su equipo, 100% mexicanos..No dejes de ir a Mur Mur

Delicious octopus and local pork belly. We didn't have wine but the wine list was mentioned and I saw great care in serving wine. Sitting area is across from the open kitchen and open fire oven... I found the sitting area a little cramped, but some might call it intimate.

We ate here 3 times, check out the cocktails (Spicy Paloma!), superb wine list. The menu is not huge, but everything on it is worth a try. We visited 3 times, on the second visit we just had 4 or 5 of the starters, one after the other like a tasting menu. On our last night they had two guest chefs in from New York who prepared a great menu using local ingredients, really special, but actually the normal menu is pretty special as well! I think they put on this sort of event once a month, maybe more in the high season.The staff & owner were all really great, we were treated like old friends the second time we visited, and it felt genuine, not phony American-style hospitality. They were just really pleased we had liked their food so much that we came back.I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough.

One of the best meals I had in Tulum. The beets and the ceviche were so delicious and a great way to start the dinner. The wine selection was impressive with many natural and Mexican wines. I loved the octupus as my main dish. Overall excellent food, great service and a very rustic, Tulum atmosphere.

I was in Tulum about a week ago, and I loved my dinner at Mur Mur. The service was great, very friendly wait staff, loved that they took credit cards too. The palapa over the bar is so beautifully constructed, and the open fireplace cooking area was also a beautiful feature of this restaurant. I had the Nacho cocktail, super yummy, the roasted beet, which was cooked to perfection, and came with a pesto sauce, that was not a Genovese pesto, but made with local ingredients and just delicious. I also had the grilled octopus, which was accompanied by another delicious sauce, slightly salty, but not overly so, and to finish, the mango coconut dessert, which was light, not overly sweet, and very good. I also had a glass of white wine with dinner, that I think was from the Baja region. I was very impressed with the Mexican wines I tasted on my travels to the Yucatán. As a solo traveller, I was treated as a welcome guest here at Mur Mur, and I enjoyed my lively conversation about the chili morita with the waitstaff, Andres and Nacho. Great dinner, great experience. A highlight of my trip to Tulum, that I would gladly come back to.

The drinks, appetizers, and entrees at Mur Mur are wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. We were celebrating my father's birthday, and the chef and staff prepared a phenomenal tiramisu-like cake in their wood fire oven. The chef is a MASTER of his domain, cooking pulpo, snapper, pork, patatas--everything--to perfection. If you are in or heading to Tulum do not miss Mur Mur!!!

Está en carretera boca paila un poco retirado, tienes que ir en auto o Taxy el lugar está agradable tiene restaurante o si quieres algo privado está como mesitas apartadas, con respecto a la comida es el mejor pescado fresco que he cenado tiene un sazón inigualable que no encontraras en otro lugar, acompañado de un buen vino resaltará mucho tu experiencia culinaria !! La atención es buena aunque creo que hay puntos a mejora por ejemplo era de noche y había mucho mosquito tenían repelente pero el cliente no lo sabe si alguien lo hubiera ofrecido al vernos batallando con los moscos la perspectiva hubiera sido diferente, otro punto a mejora si ya vas a cerrar el local y sabes que tu comensal llego un poco tarde pondrías avisar para el postre ya que cuando pedimos postre nos lo negaron porque ya habían cerrado, esto son cositas que por más pequeñas marcan mucho la diferencia así como la satisfacción del cliente. Cabe resaltar que la velada fue muy linda pero estos detalles son puntos a mejora. Y claro que regresaría por probar ese rico pescado!!!.
