Voglio dividere location-ristorante da menù, personale e servizio cercando di non dilungarmi. Locale bello,caratteristico e romantico non è sul mare ma sicuramente figo. Menù limitato ma cmq con possibilità di prendere pesce o carne. Qua iniziano a fare i furbi, i piatti di pesce sono scarsi (meno pesce e piu verdure e condimento), il servizio è LENTO e poco cortese (troverete camerieri correre avanti e indietro X locale è per fermarli dovete quasi bloccarli), piatti buoni e freschi ma nn sicuramente della giusta portata per la spesa. Chiudo con il conto, sono abitudinario a lasciare mance dove ho cenato bene ed il servizio è stato all altezza ma in questo locale fanno i furbetti separandoti solo quando ti portano il conto il prezzo del piatto dal prezzo del servizio (!!) vedi foto, pertanto quello che pagherete alla fine sarà il prezzo del piatto e in aggiunta il servizio(!!) alla consegna del pagamento quando ho chiesto il resto mi è anche stato chiesto: "¿No hay propina?" Peccato, il locale si presenta bene ma lucrare sempre sul turista quando anche io servizio non è buono, non è corretto.
Encontré esta joya en reseñas de restaurantes geniales en Tulum, no me decepcionó. Gran servicio en cada paso desde las reservas hasta la despedida. Entorno encantador en un jardín iluminado. Un poco de calor en verano: pide sentarte cerca de un ventilador. Los mariscos en tulum suelen ser buenos, de aburridos. Estos muchachos hicieron un gran trabajo con pargo fresco, un tratamiento muy interesante con salvia. Mi grupo también tenía un plato vegetariano local con una calabaza pequeña; no podía creer lo bueno que estaba. Precios acordes con los mejores lugares en tulum. Tres de ellos costaron 1800 pesos con bebidas y aperitivos. Altamente recomendado.
La decoración y ambientación del lugar es espectacular, en medio de un jardín. La atención es muy buena, el sabor de los platos es excelente (recomiendo la calabaza rellena y coctel de pulpo) y en general es una muy buena experiencia. Lo malo es que al igual que varios restaurant de la zona se paga demasiado por el valor de los platos; es buena comida pero los precios son exagerados comparados con otros lugares de México.Un plato de fondo cuesta alrededor de $350 pesos.
I love the "indoors outside" decor with living room lamps in the garden. Lovely friendly staff, I went alone and with friends and they were great. The food is always good - it changes I think according to availability but I enjoyed everything - especially the amazing soup and cocktails
We wondered around early Tues evening in Tulum where it appears a lot of places don't open on this day so we were pleased to find this place.It was raining heavily outside and they had a lot of undercover seating available. The decor is very vintage inside with huge chest of drawers, cute lampshades and a wallpapered wall with frames and maps on. Very friendly staff, I was excited about having proper bread while chosing our food, we settled on stuffed peppers as a starter to share and these were stuffed with goats cheese, very creamy and delicious. My husband ordered the ribs which he enjoyed very much, my main was the fish of the day which was snapper, the fish itself was amazing but I found the dish too heavily based with herbs such as sage which for me overpowered it.The fresh limonade was refreshing and tasty and I enjoyed the chocolate brownie and ice cream to finish.
Cenzontle was my 2nd favorite dinner in Tulum (food wise). The atmosphere at Cenzontle was my favorite. It's charming and warm (and warm in more ways than one ha!). It's on the jungle side of Tulum, and all the restaurants on the jungle side are a little warm - at least in the month of August. But, it is what it is and we didn't mind one bit. It's Tulum! The service was fantastic. The drinks were great. And our food was delicious. As with all the restaurants on the jungle side in Tulum - take a little bug spray!
Después de 3 años, volví a este sitio. ¡Qué delicia! Ver que han crecido, que sigue lleno me da muchísimo gusto. Pedimos varios platillos. Empanadas de jamaica, para chuparse los dedos. Pimientos rellenos, deliciosos, y una "pesca del día" me parece envuelto en hoja santa o algún quelite similar, no fue mi favorito, por el sabor tan pronunciado, pero bueno. Me dió mucha tristeza saber que ya no tenían en su carta de bebidas la "Môme Piaff", un deleite. Nos sentaron en una de las primeras mesas, el mesero inclusive expresó que nos tuvieron un "poco abandonados", es cierto, nos sentimos por momentos olvidados.Volvería sin duda.
Been twice , the vibe of his place really suits me , good service , fantastic food , great music , tried : catch of the day , the lamb dish and the pork dish ... all delicious .. their are many great places to eat in Tulum ... this is one of them .
