If you are visiting Puerto Vallarta, it is the worst mistake to miss to visit this place!!!Perfect mexican food, fresh seafood, outstanding kitchen!!!To highlight, but not limits to:-friendly "feel-like-home" stuff-pet friendly-amazing environmentThe only down-side is location, as it is the middle of nowhere. But this is only bad for the business, because for us, visitors: amazing uniterrupted oasis in the middle of the jungle. Just perfect!
We live in Punta de Mita and frequently go to Sayulita, passing this delightful place but never stopping.. And when we did it was a good decision. We were the first customers of the morning and not in any hurry, the beverages came right away and then the house made salsa (in the picture) with some, again house made, thick tortillas for dipping. These were thick and hearty and the salsa is delish and so fresh. We also had guacamole to dip and it was also great. I had the breakfast special an interesting combination with fresh salad, refried beans, papas fritas and scrambled eggs. It hit all the right spots. My friend had fish filet and what a surprise, it was cooked in foil with cheese and good stuff. Our waiter was attentive and took care of everything. The décor is rustico and charming. The hiway is busy and noisy, so very Mexico. Our waiter did not care that we brought Fabio, my little white dog, and graciously brought him water. This is a place on our go back to list, and thankfully close to home.
If your stating at the Iberostar just ten minutes up the road is this gem, a must try for a taste of real mexico, basic but tasty food with simple service.The Carne Asada was a fav but the ceviche was also high quality at local prices.We asked for a tequila to end our meal, the owner recommended the Siete Leguas which was a great sipping option and far better than any of the tequilas we had at the hotel.
El servicio es excelente, se ofrece comida mexicana que está impresionantemente rica, ya sea arrachera, pescados, camarones y todo lo que comas es recien hecho y del dia, muy recomendable este sitio.
La mejor salsa que he probado...la hacen a las brasas con la madera de zona. Las mejores quesadillas con salsa. Vale la pena probar algo tan sencillo pero hecho a mano...sabe diferente.
Love this restaurant. Comfortable and attractive in an area with many trees. The carne asada is to die for! Other entrees are also 1st class, fresh and tasty. I had the fish quesadillas which were excellent and had sides of fresh cooked potatoes - fry-style, rice and a salad of tomatoes and lettuce. Very impressed with the quality of foods and the service. I 'll be back soon!
I have never had a bad meal here... every thing is freshly made and reasonable prices! I love the carne asada and chile relleno
Come and experience delicious local food. Personally taken care by it's owner, Jorge o "El Guero" they have a day special and they always treat you with a delicious quesadilla while you wait for your food. When coming here you should definitely have their ' Molcajete sauce ' which is freshly made and deliciously hot. My personal favorite is also the bananas dessert which is simply delicious, order it when you order your lunch so that it's ready on time.
