Thinking about this restaurant as I am writing this review is making me hungry. After a week in Punta Mita and Puerto Vallarta, my family and I ate at countless restaurants, but TUNA BLANCA was BY FAR our favorite. The service was awesome, except we did have to pay the hostess for a table outside that was obviously open. And if you sit outside the view is worth it, but bring bug spray as I got eaten alive by the mosquitoes. However the food was so amazing. The shrimp is cooked right in front of the table and the flavor is incomparable. The catch of the day was also a family favorite. The Mahi-Mahi was paired with GLUTEN FREE and delicious mini enchiladas. The Guac was also a highlight, one of thee best we had. The creativity and passion put into the food was obvious in the flavor and presentation of the plates. The thing that blew us away was the dessert surf board.My family typically doesn't get desserts at restaurants, but the waiter convinced and boy were we glad her did. YES, a surf board full of chocolate, ice cream, macaroons, candy, cake, and flower pot mousse. EVERYTHING WAS DECADENT. we have two people with celiac disease, one with nut allergies, and a pescatarian were all all to eat! PLEASE GO AND ENJOY!
