Rosa Restaurante Mexicano - CORRAL DEL RISCO

For my wife, four and a half year old daughter, and myself, Rosa Mexicano was a delight. Exquisite flavors and entrees that made our meal one of the best of our trip. Led by Memo, he and the whole staff were extremely warm and welcoming to us and put extra effort out there with our daughter to engage with her, which allowed us the rare chance to really sit with a meal:). Did I mention one of our best of the trip?! We will definitely return as soon as we are back in the area! Salud!

Joli cadre, avec une décoration très couleur locale, vivifiante. Une table à quelques mètres de la mer, les pieds dans le sable, dans la douceur de la nuit...Le charme tombe un peu quand on nous accueille en anglais, avec des menus en anglais, et des convives parlant anglais tout autour....Mais on continue en espagnol et tout devient plus sympa ! Les Margaritas sont servies dans de jolies coupes colorées et le serveur sait y faire pour vous faire passer une excellente soirée, photos à l'appui ! Avec les inévitables chanteurs mexicains qui font le tour des tables et qui vous jouent votre chanson locale préférée, tout y est ! Car la cuisine ajoute sa part de couleur locale, avec la traditionnel guacamole préparé devant vous, les molcajetes,....Finalement, une bien bonne soirée !

We went here for a later dinner with the kids. The menu was quite diverse and they started us out with some fire roasted salsa which was warm. We really enjoyed this and exceeded my expectations. We also had the cilantro cheese appetizer which was very good. My daughter had the ribs which were very tender but the sauce was a little spicy for her. My other daughter dad a Caesar salad which was good and my wife had the tortilla soup. She liked it and the flavor was good but also a little spicy for her. I had the ribs eye steak which was good but a little tough. All and all a good meal and I had a little tequila to finish it off.

We arrived to Punta de mita at 9:30 our host said because it was low season all the restaurants had been closed, but we walked around and a chef was outside when we planned to go in, so they said "sorry bu were closed", we were about to leave and suddenly he decided to let us in and prepare an incredible dinner for us! Every dish was beautiful and delicious the handmade salsa is awesome don't worry is up to you decide the level of spiciness Everything was great, I can't give 5 stars just because in the terrace we were I saw a couple of unpleasant bugs, of curse is not something they could control because is right next to the beach but I didn't like it that much, besides that everything was awesome!

The restaurant provides the same ocean view as the others on the strip of bars and restaurants, however this one was not my favorite. The service was great with a lively waiter, but the quality of the food was not on par with other top restaurants in town. The prices were cheaper and don't get me wrong it was a good meal, just not the best. I was also a little unnerved that the waiter was feeding a stray dog with leftover food. While a kind gesture, this made the dog linger and let's just say he wasn't the cleanest hound I'd ever seen. I overheard a neighboring table tell their son not to touch the animal because "he's gross."

the resteraunt is great but the staff really makes it worth it. don't remember the guy's name but i gave the guy some cash to run into town for me and pick up 3 of the fancy margarita glasses in the pictures and he brought me back the glasses plus change! for $5 some meican dudes with guitars will play a song or two and sing with guitars at your table.

Lobster and blue shrimp right from local waters! Delicious! Also, Mango Margarita to die. Hella view and friendly service. Pretty much vacay heaven.

Arcadio did a terrific job of making our first visit memorable. The table side prepared salsa and guacamole, queso, the mocajete with blue shrimp and lobster, margs...everything was fabulous!
